Bay Area Mechanical is one of the proud sponsors of this year’s Holiday Open Barn featuring self guided tours of the animal areas, PHOTOS with SANTA, photo vignette areas AND hand made crafts and other items for sale to support the resident animals! They will be able to offer a limited number of FREE TICKETS to this event! Donations are appreciated and all proceeds from our craft sales will benefit the resident animals. Santa is returning for a second year along with some special helpers! We hope to see you for a fun filled day of holiday cheer
The Big Purple Barn, Inc. is a sanctuary currently providing a permanent home to 16 horses from various rescues, slaughter auctions and private placements. While the majority are rideable in some way, they have several who are not; due to age or medical conditions. They also provide a home to 2 potbellied pigs, 5 goats and 3 sheep! They provide them with food, medical care, exercise, mental stimulation, companionship, and love. The majority of their animals have an ongoing special need like a chronic medical condition that requires medication and a comprehensive care plan. They pride ourselves in specializing in geriatric animal care, providing the best to our aging resident animals!
